Is leadership only important at the top? The answer is no. Leadership is a process, not a position. 

In the past, the terms leadership and management were used interchangeably. I think most people now agree there is a significant difference between the two. Management is at its best when things stay the same.  Leadership deals with people and their dynamics, which are continually changing. The challenge of leadership is to create change and facilitate growth.
